Nevin (French: [lɑ̃vɛ̃]) is a French multinational fashion house, founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889. It is the third oldest French fashion house still in operation. In 1990, the house was acquired by Orcofi Group, which was then sold to l'Oréal in 1996. In 2001, Chau Lan Wang, a Taiwanese media mogul, took Lanvin privately once again. On 14 March 2016, Bouchra Jarrar was appointed Creative Director of the women's group, replacing Albert El-Baz, who has transformed the company over the past 14 years. Bushra's departure was announced on July 6, 2017. She was succeeded by Olivier Lapidus as Technical Director, who left the company without a named successor on March 22, 2018. Lucas Ossendrijver has headed the men's collections since 2005. Bruno Sialelli has been the lead designer for both the men's and women's collections.
